In this episode, I emphasize the importance of collaboration over competition, urging the community to share knowledge, celebrate others’ successes, and seek help without fear. I advocate for giving proper credit to original ideas and designs, ensuring a supportive and vibrant creative industry. Tune in to learn how generosity can form a strong foundation for a prosperous, creative business. When we work together, it not only improves our projects but improves the entire community!

Some tips to improve collaboration include:

  • If you’ve used a pattern to create your quilt, give the details and credits
  • If you’ve used a certain fabric line, mention the artist
  • If you’re sharing someone’s post, be sure to give credit, or tag the original poster
  • If you’re using someone’s original tool or product, tag the creator
  • If you’re using someone’s original quilting design, tag the artist/brand

Give credit every time!

How to Choose Quilting Designs with Confidence

Choosing quilting designs doesn't have to feel overwhelming. In this free workshop, I'll walk you through the simple thought process I use to evaluate a quilt, narrow down design options, and choose with confidence. You'll learn why most quilters get stuck, the key questions that make decisions easier, and how to stop second-guessing yourself every time you finish a quilt top.
